Terms of Service

Introduction and Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Publisher Pro, a browser-based Gumroad page authoring and publishing application provided by GetSkipa LLC (“GetSkipa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Publisher Pro, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms operate together with the License, Purchase & Refund Terms, Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum. If those documents conflict, the more specific document controls the subject it addresses.

Product Scope

Publisher Pro helps Gumroad creators read supported seller, Profile, Product, and public media information; create Product and Profile page presentations; preview those pages; save licensed workspaces; publish supported custom HTML to Gumroad; restore supported Gumroad custom HTML; and download standalone HTML when licensed.

Publisher Pro is an independent GetSkipa product. Gumroad is an independent third-party platform and is not owned, operated, administered, or controlled by GetSkipa. Publisher Pro is not Gumroad, and GetSkipa does not represent that Publisher Pro is sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Gumroad.

Gumroad Account Responsibility

You are responsible for your Gumroad account and access, access tokens, products, pricing, downloadable files, account settings, permissions, content, compliance with Gumroad requirements, and review of all previews and published results. You may use Publisher Pro only with Gumroad accounts and content that you are authorized to access and modify.

Access Tokens

Connected Publisher Pro functionality requires a valid Gumroad access token. You are responsible for protecting the token, limiting who can access it, and revoking or replacing it when appropriate.

Publisher Pro processes the raw token transiently. The browser holds it in JavaScript memory for the current page session and sends it to Gumroad and the Publisher Pro Worker when required. Under the current implementation, Publisher Pro does not persist the raw token in D1, browser localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, cookies, Project JSON, or standalone HTML.

Explore Mode

Explore Mode permits an unlicensed user with a valid Gumroad access token to read supported creator and Product information, create and edit Product and Profile pages in memory, select supported assets, and use the full responsive preview.

Explore Mode does not provide licensed cloud Save, Project import, standalone HTML download, or Gumroad Publish, Restore Default, or Restore Previous operations. Explore work is not represented as recoverable after refresh. Browser-native inspection, screenshots, copying, and Print or PDF capabilities are browser behavior and are not Publisher Pro export features.

Publishing Authorization

When you initiate Publish, Restore Default, or Restore Previous, you expressly authorize Publisher Pro to send the applicable custom HTML page to your connected Gumroad account. Publisher Pro can publish, clear, or restore supported Gumroad Product or Profile custom html.

Publisher Pro publishing does not modify Product price, downloadable Product files, checkout configuration, fulfillment, payout settings, or banking information. Gumroad sandbox environment may sanitize, transform, reject, or otherwise process submitted HTML independently. You are responsible for reviewing both previews and live results.

Standalone HTML

A licensed creator may download standalone HTML after Publisher Pro verifies current entitlement. Once downloaded, the file is controlled by the user. GetSkipa does not remotely control or disable that file and does not provide hosting for it through Publisher Pro.

Standalone HTML may continue to depend on third-party fonts, Gumroad-hosted assets, public Gumroad links, and other external resources selected by the creator. Availability or behavior of those dependencies is not guaranteed by GetSkipa.

User Content

You retain your rights in content you create, enter, import, link, publish, or distribute through Publisher Pro. You grant GetSkipa the limited permission necessary to process, store, render, transmit, and publish that content to provide Publisher Pro at your direction.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, permissions, accessibility, disclosures, claims, links, and suitability of your content and generated pages.

Generated Output and GetSkipa Intellectual Property

Your own content remains yours. Subject to these Terms and applicable third-party rights, you may use HTML output generated for your licensed Publisher Pro workspace for your own pages and hosting.

Publisher Pro software, application code, interface, proprietary templates, reusable components, design systems, GetSkipa branding, documentation, and underlying technology remain the property of GetSkipa or its licensors. Receipt of generated output does not transfer ownership of Publisher Pro itself or authorize extraction or reuse of Publisher Pro as a competing application, template system, or service.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Publisher Pro for unlawful activity; unauthorized account access; infringement of third-party rights; credential theft; malicious or executable content intended to compromise users, GetSkipa, Gumroad, or another service; attempts to bypass licensing, identity, or security controls; unauthorized vulnerability testing; scraping or abuse of protected services; disruption of GetSkipa infrastructure; or any activity that violates Gumroad requirements or applicable law.

Workspace Availability, Retention, and Backup

Publisher Pro cloud workspace storage is operational workspace storage, not an indefinite archival or backup service. Activity for inactivity retention is based on a successful saved workspace revision or update.

A workspace with 365 consecutive days without a successful saved workspace revision or update is eligible for permanent deletion from GetSkipa systems. A revoked workspace may be retained for up to 365 days to allow refund, dispute, support, reinstatement, or other license issues to be resolved and may be permanently deleted if it remains revoked after that period. Current operations do not use an automatic scheduled purge, so deletion is not promised at an exact automated time.

GetSkipa workspace deletion does not delete standalone HTML or other files on your device, browser-local data outside GetSkipa’s server control, or custom HTML already published to Gumroad. You are responsible for retaining independent copies of output you need. Assistance requests may be sent to admin@getskipa.com.

Third-Party Platforms and Infrastructure

Publisher Pro uses Cloudflare infrastructure and depends on Gumroad for supported account information, APIs, authentication and token issuance, Product and Profile behavior, custom HTML support, previews, sanitization, hosted assets, and publishing operations. Pages may also use Google Fonts, Gumroad-hosted media, and creator-selected external links or media.

GetSkipa does not control or undertake to repair, restore, administer, or guarantee Gumroad’s production environment, sandbox or testing environments, APIs, documentation, authentication, account availability, restrictions or suspensions, custom HTML support, sanitization or transformation, preview behavior, Product behavior, hosted assets, platform policies, pricing, outages, rate limits, API changes, deprecations, removed functionality, or continued availability of any capability.

Functionality dependent on Gumroad or another third party may become temporarily or permanently unavailable if that provider changes, restricts, interrupts, or discontinues the underlying service.

Service Availability and Changes

Publisher Pro is provided on an “as available” basis. GetSkipa does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Availability may be affected by maintenance, Cloudflare, Gumroad, hosted assets, network conditions, browser or device behavior, security events, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

GetSkipa may maintain, secure, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Publisher Pro or particular capabilities. Updates to Publisher Pro are included with your license at no additional charge, but this does not promise perpetual development, perpetual hosting, or operation forever.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Publisher Pro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or continued compatibility with Gumroad.

GetSkipa does not guarantee increased sales, conversion performance, search ranking, Gumroad acceptance of every page, uninterrupted API compatibility, continued Gumroad custom HTML functionality, or suitability for a particular commercial, regulatory, accessibility, or legal purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetSkipa, its owners, agents, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost sales, revenue, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, workspace data, unavailable assets, failed or partial publication, Gumroad account or platform changes, creator content, third-party interruption, or inability to access or use Publisher Pro.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetSkipa’s total aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to Publisher Pro is limited to the amount paid to purchase the Publisher Pro license giving rise to the claim. If no fee was paid, total aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, in which case they apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Legal Requests

GetSkipa may preserve or disclose information as necessary to comply with a valid subpoena, court order, legal process, law-enforcement request, government request, or applicable law. When legally permitted and reasonably practical, GetSkipa may attempt to notify the affected customer before disclosure, but may withhold notice when prohibited or when emergency circumstances or risk of harm make notice inappropriate.

Governing Law and General Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for disputes must be determined under applicable law and requires further written designation by GetSkipa; these Terms do not designate a particular Texas county.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the documents incorporated above form the agreement concerning Publisher Pro.

Document

License, Purchase & Refund Terms

One-Time Purchase

Publisher Pro is sold as a one-time purchase. The Publisher Pro license does not carry a recurring subscription charge.

The purchase is processed through Gumroad. Gumroad’s checkout, payment processing, tax handling, receipt, and related purchase services are subject to Gumroad’s terms and availability. GetSkipa does not directly collect full payment-card or banking credentials through Publisher Pro.

License Grant

Subject to payment and compliance with the Publisher Pro legal documents, one purchased Publisher Pro license may be activated for one verified Gumroad creator identity. The license is non-transferable between Gumroad creator identities.

GetSkipa does not impose an artificial device or browser limit on the licensed creator. Access still requires a supported browser, a valid connected Gumroad token for connected operations, and successful entitlement verification where required.

Updates

Updates to Publisher Pro are included with your license at no additional charge.

This update policy is not a promise of lifetime development, perpetual service availability, perpetual Gumroad compatibility, or operation of Publisher Pro forever.

Explore Mode

Publisher Pro may be evaluated without purchasing a license. Explore Mode permits supported Gumroad reads, editing, and full responsive preview. Licensed cloud Save, Project import, standalone HTML download, Gumroad Publish, and Gumroad Restore operations require an active license.

Refunds

Refund requests made within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase are accepted on a no-questions-asked basis. No refunds are offered after fourteen (14) calendar days except where required by applicable law.

Because Gumroad processes the purchase, a customer may use the refund/contact process made available through the Gumroad receipt or purchase interface, or contact GetSkipa at admin@getskipa.com for assistance. Publisher Pro does not provide a separate self-service GetSkipa refund interface.

Effect of Refund or Revocation

A refunded Publisher Pro purchase may have its licensed entitlement revoked. Revocation is administered operationally and is not represented as instantaneous or automatically synchronized with Gumroad.

After revocation, licensed Save, import, standalone download, Publish, and Restore capabilities are unavailable, while Explore Mode remains available. A revoked workspace may be retained for up to 365 days for refund, dispute, support, reinstatement, or other license resolution and may be permanently deleted if it remains revoked after that period.

Previously downloaded standalone HTML cannot be remotely disabled by Publisher Pro and remains a user-controlled file. Revocation or workspace deletion also does not remove local files, uncontrolled browser-local data, or custom HTML already published to Gumroad.

Taxes

Gumroad may calculate, collect, remit, or display taxes according to the transaction, customer location, and applicable requirements. The customer remains responsible for taxes, duties, assessments, or government charges not collected through the purchase process, except taxes imposed on GetSkipa’s income.

Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how GetSkipa LLC processes information through Publisher Pro. Publisher Pro processes seller/account-linked information and user-created workspace content; it should not be understood as a service that processes no personal information.

Information Processed

Depending on use, Publisher Pro may process a stable Gumroad creator ID; seller name and username; public Profile information; Product IDs, names, descriptions, pricing, currency, and public URLs; Product media URLs and metadata; user-created page content; layouts, themes, editor and page state; Shared Links; Project/workspace content; license fingerprint; purchase identifier; license status; revision metadata; and publication timestamps.

Profile or Product content may contain personal data when the creator chooses to include names, biographies, locations, links, images, or other identifying information.

Gumroad Access Token

The raw Gumroad access token is processed transiently. Publisher Pro holds it in browser JavaScript memory during the current page session and sends it to Gumroad and the Publisher Pro Worker as necessary for identity verification, account and Product reads, licensing, persistence authorization, previews, publishing, and restore operations.

According to the current implementation, Publisher Pro does not persist the raw token in D1, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, cookies, Project JSON, standalone HTML, or URLs. Disconnect, token replacement, page initialization, and page unload clear the in-memory token. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

Publisher Pro License Key

The raw Gumroad license key is processed during activation and sent to Gumroad’s license-verification service. Publisher Pro does not store the raw key. GetSkipa stores an HMAC-SHA-256 fingerprint of the key together with applicable Gumroad purchase and entitlement metadata. The fingerprint is a keyed cryptographic result, not encryption of the license key.

Buyer and Payment Data

Active Publisher Pro production functionality does not request buyer identities, buyer email addresses, payment-card information, payout information, or banking information. Gumroad independently handles purchase checkout and payment-related processing.

Cloud Workspace and D1 Storage

For licensed saved Projects, GetSkipa stores a creator-bound workspace in Cloudflare D1. Stored fields include the Gumroad creator ID, license fingerprint, purchase identifier where supplied, active or revoked license status, complete Project/workspace JSON, workspace schema version, revision, activation and verification metadata, publication metadata, and timestamps.

Project JSON may contain seller/Profile/Product source information, user-created content, public media and link URLs, Shared Links, page structure, appearance, and editor state. Publisher Pro does not represent that Project JSON is encrypted at the application level.

Browser Storage

Licensed sessions may store local page drafts and editor state in browser localStorage. Publisher Pro may also store Profile rollback snapshots containing previous Gumroad Profile custom HTML. These records support draft continuity and Profile recovery.

Disconnecting clears the current token and runtime entitlement but does not necessarily remove local drafts or rollback snapshots. Browser-local information is controlled by the browser and device and may be cleared through applicable browser controls. GetSkipa cannot delete files or browser data outside its control.

How Information Is Used

GetSkipa uses information to connect Publisher Pro to Gumroad at the creator’s direction; verify creator identity and license entitlement; create, save, restore, and troubleshoot Projects; render previews and standalone output; publish or restore custom HTML; maintain security and integrity; provide support; resolve refunds or disputes; and comply with legal obligations.

No Sale and No Behavioral Advertising

GetSkipa does not sell, rent, trade, or broker Publisher Pro workspace data or use it to build behavioral advertising profiles. Publisher Pro code reviewed for this policy does not implement advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking. Standard operational request data may still be processed by hosting, network, browser, Gumroad, font, media, and linked-service providers.

Third Parties and Infrastructure

Publisher Pro uses Cloudflare Pages or equivalent static hosting, Cloudflare Workers, and Cloudflare D1 for application delivery, protected requests, and workspace storage. Cloudflare is the primary infrastructure provider.

Publisher Pro communicates with Gumroad, an independently selected third-party platform, for identity, Product and Profile data, public assets, license verification, previews, and authorized custom HTML operations. Publisher Pro pages may request Google Fonts and Gumroad-hosted media. User-selected external links or media may cause a visitor’s browser to contact the selected third party.

Those providers process information under their own terms, privacy practices, technical controls, and legal obligations.

Retention and Deletion

Publisher Pro cloud workspace data is retained while the workspace remains active. A workspace with 365 consecutive days without a successful saved workspace revision or update is eligible for permanent deletion. A revoked workspace may be retained for up to 365 days to resolve refund, dispute, support, reinstatement, or other license matters and may be permanently deleted if it remains revoked after that period.

The current application does not implement an automatic scheduled 365-day deletion mechanism. The policy therefore establishes eligibility for deletion after the applicable period and does not promise deletion at an exact automated time.

Deletion from GetSkipa systems does not automatically delete standalone HTML or other local files, browser-local data outside GetSkipa’s control, or custom HTML/content already published to Gumroad. Data and deletion requests may be sent to admin@getskipa.com. GetSkipa may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority.

Security

GetSkipa uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed for Publisher Pro, including transient token handling, no intentional persistence of raw access tokens or raw license keys, keyed license fingerprinting, verified Gumroad creator identity, creator-bound workspaces, server-side entitlement enforcement, revision checks, request and workspace validation, restricted CORS, preview sandboxing, unsafe-content scanning, and output secret exclusion.

No browser application, network transmission, database, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure or continuously available. Creators remain responsible for their devices, browsers, networks, Gumroad accounts, access tokens, downloaded files, external hosting, and distribution of published content.

Legal Requests

GetSkipa may preserve or disclose information where required by valid legal process or applicable law. When legally permitted and reasonably practical, GetSkipa may attempt to notify the affected customer before disclosure, subject to legal restrictions, emergencies, and risks of harm.

Data Processing Addendum

Purpose and Scope

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) applies where GetSkipa processes personal data contained in a customer’s Publisher Pro workspace on behalf of that customer. It supplements the Terms of Service. If it conflicts with the Terms concerning covered processing of personal data, this DPA controls for that subject.

Roles

The customer or creator selects the Gumroad account, controls workspace and page content, determines what is published, and determines the purposes for which that content is used. GetSkipa processes stored workspace information to provide Publisher Pro.

The parties’ legal roles may vary by data category and applicable law. To the extent applicable law characterizes the customer as controller or business and GetSkipa as processor or service provider for workspace personal data, the provisions of this DPA apply in that capacity. This DPA does not determine legal roles for every jurisdiction or every independently controlled Gumroad activity.

Processing Instructions and Purpose

GetSkipa processes covered personal data according to the customer’s use of Publisher Pro and documented instructions in the agreement, including to connect and verify identity, provide workspace persistence, render and validate pages, publish or restore content at the customer’s direction, provide support and troubleshooting, maintain security, prevent abuse, resolve licensing matters, and comply with legal obligations.

GetSkipa will inform the customer if it believes an instruction violates applicable data-protection law, unless prohibited from doing so.

Categories of Data and People

Covered data may include Gumroad creator IDs; seller names, usernames, biographies, public Profile details, images, locations, and links; Product identifiers, names, descriptions, pricing, public URLs, and media metadata; Shared Links; user-created headings, descriptions, FAQs, and page content; Project structure and appearance; publication metadata; support information; and other personal data the customer chooses to place in a workspace.

Affected people may include the creator, seller representatives, individuals identified in creator content, and other persons whose information the customer chooses to include. Active Publisher Pro production functionality does not request buyer identities, buyer emails, payment-card data, payout data, banking data, or employee timekeeping data.

Confidentiality and Access

GetSkipa will limit access to covered personal data to personnel and service providers who require access to provide, secure, support, or administer Publisher Pro or comply with law, and will require appropriate confidentiality obligations for such access.

Subprocessors and Independent Third Parties

The customer authorizes GetSkipa to use Cloudflare as the primary infrastructure provider for static delivery, Worker request processing, and D1 workspace storage. GetSkipa may replace or add infrastructure providers as reasonably necessary to operate Publisher Pro, subject to applicable data-protection obligations.

Gumroad is an independently selected and used third-party platform of the creator. Publisher Pro communicates with Gumroad at the creator’s direction, but this DPA does not characterize Gumroad solely as GetSkipa’s subprocessor or alter the creator’s independent relationship with Gumroad.

Google Fonts, Gumroad-hosted media, and creator-selected external services may receive browser requests when their resources are used. Their role depends on the creator’s page and the applicable provider relationship.

Security Measures

GetSkipa maintains reasonable measures designed for the nature of Publisher Pro processing. Current measures include transient browser-memory token handling; no intentional storage of raw Gumroad access tokens or raw Publisher Pro license keys; HMAC-SHA-256 license fingerprints; independent Gumroad creator verification; creator-bound D1 workspaces; active-entitlement checks; optimistic revision controls; workspace schema, identity, size, and credential-field validation; restricted production CORS; sandboxed editor previews without script permission; unsafe-content scanning; and secret-exclusion controls for output.

The customer is responsible for security of its Gumroad account, tokens, devices, browsers, networks, local files, external hosting, content, links, and authorized users.

Security Incidents

If GetSkipa becomes aware of a confirmed security incident involving unauthorized access to covered personal data processed through Publisher Pro, GetSkipa will notify the affected customer without undue delay and within any shorter period required by applicable law.

Notice will include available information reasonably necessary for the customer to understand the incident and take appropriate action, subject to security, confidentiality, legal, and investigative restrictions.

Data Subject and Regulatory Assistance

Taking into account the nature of processing and information available to GetSkipa, GetSkipa will provide reasonable assistance with verified requests concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, security, impact assessments, or regulator consultation where required by applicable law and relevant to covered Publisher Pro data.

The customer remains responsible for responding to requests concerning data it controls and for using available Project, Gumroad, browser, and local-file controls where appropriate.

Retention, Return, and Deletion

Active workspaces are retained while active, subject to the inactivity policy. A workspace with 365 consecutive days without a successful saved revision or update is eligible for permanent deletion. Revoked workspaces may be retained for up to 365 days for refund, dispute, support, reinstatement, or other license resolution and may be deleted if still revoked after that period.

Deletion is currently operational rather than an automatic scheduled purge. A verified customer may request assistance at admin@getskipa.com. Deletion from GetSkipa systems does not remove downloaded HTML, local files, uncontrolled browser-local data, or content already published to Gumroad.

International Processing

Cloudflare, Gumroad, and other applicable providers may process information in locations determined by their infrastructure and legal terms. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism for GetSkipa’s covered processing, the parties will cooperate in good faith to use an appropriate lawful mechanism.

Information and Audit Cooperation

GetSkipa will make reasonably available information necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA where required by applicable law. Any audit request must be proportionate, protect other customers and security information, avoid unreasonable disruption, and use existing documentation before requiring additional review.

Legal Process

GetSkipa may process, preserve, or disclose covered data when required by law or valid legal process. When legally permitted and reasonably practical, GetSkipa may notify the affected customer before disclosure.

Term and Conflict

This DPA applies for as long as GetSkipa processes covered personal data under the agreement. The liability limitations in the Terms apply to this DPA to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If a mandatory data-protection requirement conflicts with this DPA, that mandatory requirement controls to the extent of the conflict.
